Abstract:
The goal is to determine models for organizing the structure of the tourist information system as a tool for forming a tourist cluster. The reliability of the research results is ensured by applying an integrated approach to the use of scientific methods, methodology and tools, i.e. statistical methods, system-integrated, system-structural, system-resource methods, methods of monitoring, forecasting, qualitative analysis and expert estimates. The authors rely on the study results conducted in 2018 and 2019; about 1000 people acted as respondents. The authors propose a tourist information center model that satisfies the needs of tourists to the greatest extent, ensures a rich interaction between the tourist information center and the tourist, while optimizing the costs of maintaining tourist information offices and call centers. The tourist information center can play the role of an interaction generator between tourism market entities. The horizontal and vertical links formation based on the tourist information center can stimulate the growth of cooperation in order to develop tourism and the increase in the number of economic entities working in the tourism sector.
