Abstract:

Information management is one of the main areas of scientific reflection in the times of the fourth industrial revolution. This is due to the fact that in the case of enterprises operating in conditions typical of countries with the highest degree of economic development, having significant competences in the field of information management ensures gaining a lasting competitive advantage. However, the question arises: where are we in the scientific discourse when it comes to information management? What could be the impetus driving such a discourse towards interesting scientific discoveries? In this context, it is important to examine the quantitative trends that can be observed in scientific publications over the last decade. The analysis presented in the considerations highlights the potential of the issue of artificial intelligence in raising the scientific discourse on information management to a new, higher level.
