Abstract:
This study investigates the relationship between information sharing and academic performance of students in Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia. Specifically, it examined the influence of information sharing on the academic performance of students in Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia. A convenient sampling technique was used to select 214 students from three major programmes in the university who then participated in the study. Data was collected from respondents comprising of diploma, bachelor and masters students at Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia through self-administered questionnaire. The study analyzed the data using SMARTPLS analytical tool and the overall finding revealed that information sharing statistically and significantly affects the academic performance of the students at Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia. It is then concluded that information sharing is a significant predictor of academic performance of students in Al Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Saudi Arabia. Finally, discussion on the findings and policy implications are equally presented.
