Abstract:

 Aquaculture requires a production cycle fundamentally different from that in agricultural farming. The specific elements are visible in the management activity within fish farms. In the work hereby, we recommend an improvement of the instruments used in the fish farm management, by implementing a System for Financial Analysis and Economic Planning to satisfy the forecasting requirements of fish farms profitability. The information system is meant for analyzing the economic and financial efficacy of production operations both in the existing farms and those still in project stage.
