Abstract:
The paper aims is to investigate the existing relevant literature review of Information system on the adoption of Internet Banking (IB) studies. We reviewed adoption theories utilized in Internet Banking studies within different contexts and different approaches. This explanatory study was conducted to develop an understanding of the theoretical-based research IB. the findings obtained by this study indicated, there is a large body of literature on IB adoption. Major IB research investigated the acceptance of IB using the psychological approach where some from social or a combined approach of both. The research recommended few new approaches to both investigate the adoption and develop new theory. Among other, User’s Informational-Based Readiness is a new approach this study recommends to future research of innovation adoption.
