Innovations and Social Psychological Factors from the Human Resource Perspective: Individual and Social Group Factors and Innovatiion Performance

Abstract:

The following paper provides a survey based on studies of relationships between Human Resource factors and innovation performanceat different levels.
The first part of the article is dedicated to the Human Resource Management practices and Innovations, defining features and characteristics of team members for innovation activities, the concept of employee’s creativity is defined within the frame of work groups and organizations. The concept of employee’s creativity in innovation process was widely discussed.
The second part is focused on actual topic of Human Resource diversity in organizations and on the relationship between different types of diversity on performance and innovations. The third part presents analysis of group factors within the organizations that can increase or decline innovation performance. The limits and possibilities of application are discussed in the conclusion. The main findings of the paper refer to the importance of strategic Human Resource within the frame of organization innovations.

The role and impact of Human Resources is presented at individual and group level of thinking.  At individual level and group level were presented factors and phenomena that can increase or decline the performance and innovative activities. At group level the paper survey showed characteristics of higly effective and ineffective teams in organizations. The paper also presented new findings about the impact of Human Resource Diversity on group and organizational performance.
