Abstract:
Dynamically changing environment influences the application of business models that use various types of innovations in the enterprises. They constitute one of the most important sources of creating the value, which is the condition for achieving competitive advantage and sustainable development of the organisation. Absorption and generation of various innovations often decide about the increase of the value for the client and stakeholders. The role of innovations in the increase of the value obtained by business models in chosen enterprises was studied in the paper. In particular the business models structure and their changes allowing for application of the product, process, marketing and organisational innovations were presented. The structural research on the marketing and organisational business models were conducted on the basis of the concept and rules of the so called New Era of Innovation. The ability of the enterprise implementing innovations for creating the increase and expansion of the value for the client in terms of using the right business model was evaluated. The objects of the case study were three enterprises, one of them being a service and trade company, the remaining ones the industrial companies. For the measurement of the value for the client and stakeholders obtained by studied organisations, the Balanced Scorecard standards were used.
