Abstract:
In the current economic crisis all economic agents, particularly those from the public sector must be innovative in reducing costs. The public sector plays a key role in society, whose facts are constantly marked by dynamism. The pressure under which it acts becomes inevitably a way of life. Human capital is vital, which is why we believe that for cost reduction in the public sector there should be implemented a software application that allows online recruiting and the selection of candidates to be made using video resumes. Through this scientific paper we intend to identify the main components of a software application that meet the requirements and needs for the personnel recruitment and selection in the public sector. In achieving informational integration, public organizations encounter many obstacles, so our goal is to identify these obstacles as well as to propose innovative solutions that facilitate the recruitment process in the public sector.
