Abstract:

The article is devoted to the issues of regional development of the Russian Federation subjects through applying of available diverse socio-economic instruments on the city Saint Petersburg example.

Goal. To demonstrate and structure the list of instruments that can become "internal growth points" for territorial entities in the context of emerging geopolitical and other risks.

Objectives. To identify current trends in applying of instruments on example of Russian Federation subject, such as the federal city Saint Petersburg.

Methods. The methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization, content analysis of regulatory documents were used. Data from state Internet resources and mass media were used as information and analytical support.

Results. The article analyzes the practice of applying socio-economic development instruments using the example of the city of Saint Petersburg.
