Abstract:

The paper focuses on the area of insurance and bet. The main objective of this paper is to compare both terms, to find similar and dissimilar attributes and to decide whether these terms can be used as synonyms or not. The results show that both terms have some similar attributes, such as work with randomness, risk and probability, but also dissimilar attributes that disallow to consider them to be synonyms. The methods of description, analysis and comparison have been used in this paper.
