Abstract:
With the popularity of internet and increased utilization, sharing and distribution of digital data, it is very difficult to maintain copyright, ownership of the data. Digital watermarking is a way to enforce authentication and copyright protection. In this paper we present a still image, GP (Genetic Programming) based watermarking technique. GP is used to structure the watermark by considering the human visual system characteristics such as luminance sensitivity and contrast masking. Pseudorandom sequence of real number is used as watermark and embedded into perceptually significant blocks of size 4Ă—4 of vertical and horizontal sub band in wavelet domain. Watermark detection is performed by correlation method .Experimental results shows that technique is robust against image processing attack, noise attack, geometric attack and cascading attacks .The result obtained through this technique is compared with the result of A. khan (2006).Results clearly shows that the our proposed technique is far more robust and imperceptible then the Genetic perceptual model basedtechnique proposed in A. khan (2006).
