Inter-Organizational Network in the Sector of Environmental Goods and Services: Case Studies

Abstract:

Problems regarding the balance of relations between human activities and the environment are particularly evident in the Environmental Goods and Services Sector (EGSS). In this sector, it is possible to identify inter-organizational networks based on waste collection processes, recycling, purification, reclamation and the provision of municipal services. These networks may perform operational and supervisory functions. This paper presents a case study of a network dedicated to the collection, recycling, processing and waste management of tires and beverage packaging. The study has the character of theoretical assumptions and operationalization of concepts for the further empirical research, which going to be a continuation of the ongoing project of analysing relationships in a selected sector.
