Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the issue of international human resource management and presents results of a pilot study to the planned empirical research project. The main objective of this part of the empirical research was to identify characteristic features towards human resources in Austrian subsidiaries operating in the Czech Republic. The qualitative research method of incomplete sentences was used. The questionnaire was filled-in by representatives of management and subordinate employees. The main result of this part of empirical research was to map characteristics concerning perceiving internal company environment and behavior of employees working for Austrian subsidiaries operating in the Czech Republic. The results obtained within this pilot study will be the basis for formation of quantitative research instrument in forthcoming quantitative survey.
