International Trade Dynamics of the Main Traders in The World: EU-27, USA and Japan

Abstract:

Trade has a real impact on the lives of people and offers a path to development. It is an important matter for all countries and even more so for the main traders of the world who understood that international trade is the path to prosperity and economic growth.

External trade forms an increasing part of the world economy, through the influence of globalization, as well as rapidly growing exchanges with developing economies, in particular those where indigenous energy supplies are of particular importance.

The aim of this paper is to analyze what were the changes in the international trade flows of the European Union, the United States and Japan in order to ascertainif these three main traders in the world were able to benefit from international trade, if they were able to reduce the trade balance deficit or increase the surplus and if they have used international trade as a way out of the current economic crisis.
