Internet and Supply Chain Relationships: A Cross-Industry Analysis

Abstract:

The paper presents some results of the research “Internet and supply chain management: new organisational and managerial models” based on a survey on 1458 large Italian firms.

The paper provides data and insights on the mutual impact existing among the use of Internet-based tools for supply chain management and inter-firm relationships features, with a particular focus on the role played by the context in which firms are operating.
