Abstract:
Nowadays being of High Potential employees is the extremely important need in the modern organization of different areas of activity, size and form of ownership. Article is devoted to analyses of relation to phenomenon of “Hi-Po personnel” in the small metal trade company, Russian Federation. Methodology of research, provided by the order of top-manager/owner of company cover qualitative methods – two author’s sociological survey, in which managers and key employees took part. The main evaluated parameters from both sides of stakeholders were availability and readiness to become a high potential employee (1); availability of a HiPo assessment system (2); need for HiPo development management (3). Findings of comparative analyses showed differentiation of opinions between staff and leaders in the almost criteria. Novelty of research consists in aspiration to discover opportunity to share talent-management technology on the company of small business, which usually is complicated because of little scale of activity.
