Abstract:

The aim of the article is to present methodology of one of the research stages. The research was based on a focused interview with project teams members involved in large projects execution. The research has been a part of a large research process, conducted in 2013-2015. The main aim of the focused interview was to get insight into large projects planning and execution in production and services providing companies, and determining of project managers’ and project team members’ competencies as well as what project success critical factors are taken into consideration during large projects planning and execution  in manufacturing and services providing companies. 
The article constitutes the first part of the paper, and includes just the research methodology description. The research conducted has been presented in article entitled: “Investigation to establish wag of management large projects in production and service enterprises – research results”.
