Abstract:

The purpose of this research paper is to study IT/IS outsourcing from vendors` perspective in Oman. In order to achieve this purpose, IT/IS managers from different IT/IS outsourcing service providers were interviewed. The paper explores what are challenges that face vendors in providing IT/IS services and criterion that should be set in the contract when agreed to provide a service. In addition, to get a deep understanding about how vendors do manage relationships with their clients. Moreover, to investigate IT/IS outsourcing competition in Oman.
