Abstract:
The paper aims to analyse the influence of Green Human Resource Management dimensions on the Job Pursuit Intentions. Two mediators; Employers’ Attractiveness and Employers’ Prestige intervenes the aforementioned relationship. It reviews precedent conceptual and empirical papers in accordance to this subject. The past empirical papers were retrieved on the topic of Green Human Resource Management whereby a condensed table on these with relation to Job Pursuit Intentions is illustrated. Moreover, extracting information from both conceptual and empirical papers enabled an organisation based on each variable. Few studies in a quantitative approach has been conducted on the outlook of Green Human Resource Management dimensions on Job Pursuit Intentions as separate themes. From the past empirical studies, the Green Human Resource Management dimensions are commonly treated as either a whole or a selective fragment of the various components of Green Human Resource Management.
This review paper will be beneficial for researchers with interest in exploring the concept of Green Human Resource Management factors influencing the Job Pursuit Intentions. In addition, this information and knowledge can serve as an awareness to practitioners to include green initiatives as a strategic talent acquisition and management tool. The review paper enables enrichment to the limited knowledge base on the outlook of potential employees towards Green Human Resource Management. Besides, this paper provides a combination of three underlying theories which are Ability-Motivation-Opportunity Theory, Signalling Theory and Social Identity Theory.
