Abstract:
The paper deals with the issue of knowledge management and knowledge systems, their definition, development and application in the process of business management. It defines intellectual capital and its structure. It shows the possibilities of its calculation. It suggests procedures of knowledge databases and methods of their use in the management process based on controlling with the use of the Balanced Scorecard system. It describes the various areas of interest, forms for recording and output of knowledge databases and its direct use in managerial decisions in the future status of the company.
