Knowledge Management Implementation in a Large Automotive Company: The Case Study

Abstract:

The main aim of the paper is the introduction of the preparation process of knowledge management implementation in a manufacturing automotive company. The first part mentions the choice of the appropriate methodology for the knowledge management implementation including the preparation of the project. Afterwards, the analysis of current situation follows comprising the investigation of organisational culture and the establishment of suitable realisation team. The final part of the paper discusses the creation of knowledge strategy and proposals of countermeasures which should help the organisation to transform itself into the knowledge organisation.
