Knowledge Management in Education: A Case Study on “Politehnica” University of Bucharest

Abstract:

Given the importance of knowledge management nowadays, the paper intends to present this domain directly linked with one of its main source of creation: education As a consequence, after the first introductory part, the paper presents the Knowledge Management in “Politehnica” University of Bucharest (PUB) emphasizing every components of any Knowledge Management: people, processes and technology. In the last part we will present the results of a statistical survey carried out on a number of 198 students on their perceptions about the quality and utility of knowledge provided by the university. It is, also, important to clarify that the study refers only to the license cycle and not to Master or PhD.
