Abstract:

The article presents the issues of knowledge management and indicates the key importance of knowledge in the sustainable development of organizations and societies. The analysis of the literature on the subject allowed to show the multidimensional areas of research devoted to the issues of knowledge management in the context of sustainable development, but also revealed the lack of studies containing a broader context of knowledge management in society, at the same time with numerous works on knowledge management in enterprises (organizations). The article provides tips on how to manage, process, distribute and disseminate knowledge in the society, demonstrating that it is a necessary condition for sustainable development, social and ecological innovation and environmental protection.
