Abstract:
The aim of the article is to examine two areas: the popularity and importance of reverse logistics mechanisms among working-age consumers in the Wielkopolska Voivodeship. The creation of this publication is based on three methods: analysis and criticism of literature (desk research), preliminary research conducted using the CAWI method, analysis and interpretation of research results, taking into account respondents' answers to open questions. A study on the popularity and importance of reverse logistics mechanisms among consumers yielded interesting and diverse results that may shed light on current trends and consumer expectations in this area. Even though more than half of the respondents declared that they did not know the concept of reverse logistics, all respondents referred to the use of its mechanisms. This means that even though the respondents do not know the definition of the concept, they use these mechanisms in their everyday lives. Respondents appreciate the possibility of returning goods free of charge in exchange for an immediate refund to the account or in cash instead of a gift card.
