Knowledge Transfer among Business Scholars The Role of Close Proximity

Abstract:

International co-authorship has increased rapidly in most academic fields. While the network perspective has been researched before, this paper rather focuses on the benefit of co-learning among authors, especially the exchange of tacit knowledge reflected in publication success. This paper aims to answer whether and which kind of collaboration can help achieve high quality publications by providing specific guidelines. These guidelines include possible issues with research design and variable composition.
