Abstract:

The article is the product of an investigation in the tanneries, about the administrative practices and the effects of these. A documentary review of the regulations of the sector was carried out. Through the fieldwork and a review of databases, a census of the tanneries of the San Benito neighborhood was established, these were visited in order to detect formal processes with strategic planning activities.

A systematization of the experience was carried out in relation to those policies that were the results of common administrative practices and business practices and the effects on socio-environmental fields.
