La Categoría De Género Vista Desde Algunas Muestras Significativas Del Arte Pictórico

Abstract:

The main objectives of this research work are the investigation and description of the narratives that students have of some degree programs in university institutions in the south of the city of Bogotá. These universities are: Minuto de Dios University Corporation, Antonio Nariño University and Unimonserrate University Foundation. In the initial process of bibliographic search, a categorization was reached that, detaching itself from the theme of sexual orientations, present in the project, included gender violence, feminist epistemology, otherness, and gender. Subsequently, in the development of the research, it was observed that some of the students' experiences regarding subthemes such as discrimination, sexism and sexual intolerance could be thematic fields present in some way in some works representative of the art tradition pictorial. Some notions associated with these categories, found their expression in specific samples of the painting, not only universal but Latin American and Colombian. Therefore, from the dynamics of the investigation, it was passed to its contextualization and it could be seen clearly that some spaces of art could collaborate in the understanding and conceptual interpretation of the phenomenon. Thus, the research project was enriched and could analyze other theoretical perspectives that contributed to the achievement of the objectives. To explore the imaginary of the students and theoretically expand the conceptual framework of the research, personalized interview formats were used based on a questionnaire validated by academic peers and a referential inquiry process that included matrices of bibliographical selection. The two inputs provide a special vision of the issue that was appropriate for further development.
