Abstract:
Social management is an organizational commitment that promotes global sustainable development goals. It’s one of the ways to return to the communities part of their economic growth. In the university context, it’s a shared value in the needs and solutions of the environment, a factor for accreditation in higher education. With a qualitative approach and documentary analysis, some integrated management strategies are described in one of the institutions of the university system, through operational plans, interviews for convenience and administrative reports, identifies the actions of inclusion, permanence and projection of the common welfare. Among the main results is the generation of a sustainable model based on equity for professional training and improvement of the conditions of the municipalities of the north of the Valle de Aburrá for the transformation and strengthening of the social fabric.
