Language Competences And Professional Experience Of Students – Conclusions From The EU Project Management

Abstract:

This paper, based on a brief outline of theoretical aspects of competence and project management in public universities – using the methods of analysis, descriptive and graphical data presentation – addresses the problem of the level and expectations of students of the last year of public university studies (studying finance and accounting) in terms of their competences, with particular emphasis on language competences and acquiring / expanding professional experience. The analysis also covered the assessment of the level of fulfillment of expectations in the scope of competences development, resulting from the participation in the „Be Creative – staff development for the business services sector” project, planned for implementation in 2018-2020. The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 and is implemented in a partnership formula by the Częstochowa University of Technology and Syntea S.A.
