Abstract:

With the reform and restructuring of higher education implemented by France for years, the privileged role of public universities in the production and dissemination of knowledge requires prior reflection on the skills of university leaders who are ultimately professors from various disciplines and with not strictly homogeneous curriculum. Manage universities refers to different forms of control, in coordination mechanisms, methods of evaluation as well as specific methods of negotiation and decision making. The dynamic relationship with the stakeholders of the university will consider, among other things, the ability of university leaders to build, develop and capitalize personal characteristics and required skills in universities management in order to achieve their mission in a satisfactory way.
