Leadership 4.0: A manager navigation for leadership success – Application to practice

Abstract:

How can we make our leaders better? How can we help and assist our business and the people that work for it? This is one of the recurring questions asked in management circles for the last decade. With health and success becoming linked more strongly over the years, new trends and new technology aims to augment existing efforts to help future leaders.
But as leaders often carry a lot of responsibility for the success of their company, their role and position in a company often isolates them from colleagues and superiors. Practical solutions are hard to come by when it comes to support leaders in leading. However, a new tool called chatter tries to streamline communication within organizations. Hence the possibility of a fully automated digital leader assessment tool was discussed. The idea is further to be developed during this paper as a preliminary study is conducted. Can this system be enlarged to a full-scale supervisor system or are there limits to its appliance?
