Abstract:

The article content focuses on lean production, especially on the topic of lean layout, which is referred as material flow management in production or special organization optimization. In the article you can find the description of work procedures connected with lean layout creation, common problems in industrial companies, their consequences, production spatial organization rationalization and its benefits, which are connected with lean layout principles implementation. Two case studies are used to stress benefits of lean layout usage.
