Learning Lessons from the Public Innovation Grants to Entrepreneurs (Example of EIC Accelerator and Road Map-2025)

Abstract:

In this article we discuss government projects that provide innovative grants for entrepreneurs. The article provides an example of how the selection stages and criteria for the selection of participants from the European Union project, as well as the example of Kazakhstan. In this article we studied all the questions that were filled out by entrepreneurs in the selection process. A comparative diagram of the business plan for each project in accordance with the Canvas business model and Porter's 5 forces, SWOT-analysis was made. The results suggest that despite the difference in budget and region, the innovation and evaluation requirements may be similar. This suggests that even if we look from different perspectives, we see the same things together. The results of the study showed that we can improve the process of selecting applicants for innovation grants in Kazakhstan.
