Listening and Training Practices of Organisations

Abstract:

This study aims to test the relationship between listening and training practices. This paper attempts to find out what listening clusters do banks in Malaysia fall under: the deaf organisations, the hard of hearing organisations, the selective listening organisation and the total listening organisation. This paper also looks at the relationship between listening practices, training practices and service performance. The study shows that the impact of listening and training towards service performance is not significant while the impact of listening towards training is significant.
