Livestock Food Production Self-Sufficiency in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

The article focuses on the issue of the food sovereignty of the Czech Republic in livestock commodities. As part of the analysis, the authors have proceeded from the official statistical data, which are part of the situation reports of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. The degree of food self-sufficiency of the Czech Republic is now again an important part of the development strategies of the agricultural sector. The article reflects current data that give an image of the degree of food self-sufficiency in livestock commodities.
