Low-code Platform in the Analysis and Evaluation System for Epidemic Simulation Exercises

Abstract:

The paper presents a method for analysing the results and evaluation of the course of simulation exercises conducted by sanitary health inspection. The discussed method was used in the IT system supporting the organization of simulation exercises (NESE), developed by the consortium consisting of the Military University of Technology, Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Warsaw University of Technology and Tecna Sp. z o.o. The system was designed to improve the qualifications of sanitary health services reporting to the Ministry of Health in the field of epidemiological investigations in the event of digestive poisoning or food-borne infectious diseases. Research works were carried out under the project No. PBS1 / A7 / 6/2013 financed by the National Center for Research and Development. Assessment of the results is an essential part of computer-aided exercises. The right approach to their planning and execution determines the success of the exercises. Therefore, the evaluation elements are developed already at the planning stage. Then, during the execution of the exercises, the data needed to determine the indicators are collected, which are then analyzed and assessed by the results analysis team appointed for this purpose. Therefore, this study has been divided into parts describing the tasks related to the evaluation of the execution of exercises, which such tasks occur before (in Planning and Preparation phases), during (in Execution phase) and after the execution of them (Analysis phase) [1].
