Macro-Environment and Competitive Environment as a Source of Conditions for the Lean Management Implementation Process

Abstract:

The aim of the research was to identify external conditions of both the macro-environment and the competitive environment, which determine the effectiveness of implementing the Lean Management concept into the organization. The research carried out as part of the study was conducted in two stages, in the first stage based on the literature review, initial identification of these factors was made, then in the second stage they were completed after a series of consultations in enterprises that have undergone the implementation of the Lean concept. In the last part of the study, a comparison of the above-mentioned conditions was made, classifying them both in terms of source as well as its favorable or unfavorable aspect. Entrepreneurs focused mainly on the social aspects of environment, stressing that the most important potential of each enterprise are people.
