Main Barriers in Employing Ukrainian Immigrants in Poland

Abstract:

The following article presents the characteristics of migrant workers coming to Poland as well as shows, how employers assess foreigners work, in particular these arriving from Ukraine and what barriers appear at employing them. It also depicts advantages and disadvantages of employing a foreign employee in enterprises. Thanks to the examination organized by the Business Centre Club details about main problems employers must stand up while employing a foreign employee were collected. These are i.a. a long lead time for completing documents, the elaborateness and the time consumption of procedures associated with the employment, or the lack of understanding of these procedures. From the sociological research of EWL.S.A company also results that lack of  extensive knowledge of Polish language and lack of the assimilation in the society are main barriers for taking on the job by employees immigrating to Poland. Next purpose of the following article was also a depiction of possibilities of limiting barriers and showing chances of streamlining processes associated with recruiting foreign workers.
