Abstract:

The amount of international crimes increases in geometrical progression day by day, as a consequence nowadays such a term as trafficking of individuals is not something unknown, but a worldwide threaten. Scientific analysis of problems associated with trafficking of individuals was started in the early twentieth, however despite a large quantity of scientific papers – the problem is still crucial in 21st century. The issue of child trafficking is a part of general problem of trafficking in humans. The purpose of this article is to discuss the main aspects of child trafficking in comparison with the relevant rules in international law. Since the analysis of trafficking in human beings dates back to the 1950s due to historical factors, the article also draws attention to this time.
