Abstract:

Changes in education, including the assessment process, are a sign of contemporary times and are reflected on websites of university libraries. As a response to diverse information needs of users, the same information is being ever more frequently presented within various offer ranges and at diverse locations on library websites. The objective of the article is an attempt at description of the form of information by libraries of selected technical universities concerning sources related to assessment after the introduction of the Polish Act on Higher Education and Science of 2018. Taken into account were sources published by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education following the period from introduction of the Polish Act on Higher Education and Science of 2018 until September 1st, 2019, available in their full text directly on the library websites, without necessity of searching through computer catalogues, databases or portals. Due to the breadth of the issue, the study is limited to selected aspects. The article contains an introductory chapter dealing with issues of information on library websites.
