Abstract:

The paper highlights the problems of reverse logistics processes and their usage for defective products management on the example of furniture industry in Poland. The main aim of the paper is to point out the possibilities of management the defective products by reverse logistics processes as well as the decisions in this regards. The paper in its theoretical part introduces the concepts of defective products management and reverse logistics. The research part is concentrated on the analysis of defective products management characteristics in Polish production companies of the furniture industry. The research results present the current state of reverse logistics processes implementation into furniture manufacturing companies in Poland, and also they show the processes of reverse logistics used for defective products management in this business branch.
