Abstract:

Digital data protection is a key element of business confidentiality today. This is due to the fact that all documentation is migrated to digital form, which is a natural course of things because it simplifies and speeds up the work. However, this process should be followed by extensive work on ensuring the security of this data. This work refers to digital data security management processes. The role of IT security policy was indicated. The most popular threats related to accessing digital data or violating the integrity of such data were presented. The paper presents the results of research of public sector employees on their awareness of computer threats.
