Abstract:

The relevance of the study is confirmed by the fact that the relevance of the study is confirmed by the fact that the importance of the metallurgical industry in the world is great. Metallurgy is one of the basic industries of the national industry and one of the sectors that can make a significant contribution to economic growth, especially in Russia. Metallurgy is one of the fastest growing industries. Russia has a rich raw material base. The metallurgical complex includes ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy, that is, a set of related industries and stages of the production process from the extraction of raw materials to the production of finished products. Metallurgy is characterized by high material consumption. The share of ferrous metallurgy in the volume of industrial production in Russia is about 10 %. The steel industry includes more than 1.5 thousand enterprises and organizations, 70% of them are city - forming. Metals are the main materials for the production of cars, high-rise buildings, household and computer equipment, tools in various industries, household items and many other things needed in the life of every person. The purpose of this study is to assess the management of forecasting the development of the metallurgical industry in the world. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were solved: calculate the forecast of production and consumption of steel products; calculate the forecast of production and consumption of non-ferrous metallurgy; calculate the forecast of production and consumption of special metallurgy. The methodological basis of the research is the methods of system analysis, comparison and analogy, logical and semantic modeling. These methods are used as a theoretical basis in the works of domestic and foreign scientists on planning, forecasting, production and production of metallurgical products. Sources of information are economic and other special literature, articles from periodicals, research results, experience of leading foreign companies. The results of this study are the conclusions made on the basis of management forecasting the development of the metallurgical industry in the world.
