Abstract:

The article demonstrates the characteristics of the selected logistics subsystem within the activities of the company. Its main objective is an attempt to present the analyzed issues of management of selected processes of the storage subsystem in the foundry industry company, particularly taking into account offering their model approach.  The theoretical approach to the storage subsystem in the system logistics concept was presented. Subsequently, the core business of the selected foundry industry company was briefly characterized as well as the selected processes of the storage subsystem management in the entity was identified and analyzed.  In the last part of the article, the proposition of the model approach to management of selected processes of the company’s storage subsystem was demonstrated.
