Abstract:

This paper represents a scan of the macroeconomic perspective on natural resources and the countries that own them. During the research we will highlight the tension between income from natural resources (obtained through exports), GDP growth, excellence in state governance and economic and social development of the population of resource-rich countries and from countries that are poor in resources.
