Managing Regional Development in the Area of Renewable Energy Sources in Poland

Abstract:

In the face of global warming and climate change, managing renewable energy sources (RES) is becoming an extremely important challenge for the modern world. Energy transformations are charting new development paths that require commitment and innovation at both the global and local levels. Municipalities play a special role in this context. This article examines RES management strategies at the municipal level, looking at practical examples and challenges brought about by changes in the way energy is sourced and used. Introducing modern solutions in place of fossil fuels, brings tangible effects on the environment, and also supports the energy market. It is important to explore this topic, as renewable energy sources see an opportunity to improve the quality of life for future generations. In addition, I consider pro-environmental education, support for development and new technologies, and promotion of "green" energy to be very important nowadays. One should strive for sustainable economic development by following environmental principles, take care of the natural environment and sensibly manage non-renewable energy sources, which will deplete over time.
