Abstract:
The object of this paper is to provide consistent and accurate information about the potential of wind energy in Europe, the evolution of the wind energy market and the support schemes for the development of wind energy infrastructure in the European countries. The paper highlights that wind energy becomes an important alternative energy in Europe and worldwide which could make a major contribution to the global energy supply.
