Abstract:

In order to find out which are the main problems after an important project for Local Community called SUCCESS (Smaller Urban Communities in Civitas for Environmentally Sustainable Solutions), funded by EU within CIVITAS Framework, is started to be implemented, it was developed a complex market survey. Therefore, it was designed two questionnaires, one for the people from Ploiesti, Romania and the other for the companies which have business in the Ploiesti’s area. This research is very useful in order to help with valuable information Local Community Administration of Ploiesti to decide what is important in terms of environmental issues, alternative transport modes, freight transport at city level, real time informational systems for citizens in terms of pollution and transport.
