Measuring the Effect of Business Intelligence Capabilities on Organizational Agility: Case Study in Mobile Communications Firms in Jordan

Abstract:

The goal of current study is to Measure the effect of Business Intelligence Capabilities on organizational Agility. Two dimensions were used to measure Business Intelligence Capabilities: competitive pressure, Operational excellence, and institutional isomorphism. The estimated model was tested in the Mobile Communications firms in Jordan. Questionnaire was distrusted to (62) Senior executives, IT executives and BI team, multiple regression models were developed. The results show that competitive pressure Operational excellence, and institutional isomorphism has a strong and positive effect on organizational Agility. Together, the insights from this research Results reveal the importance of Business Intelligence Capabilities dimensions on organizational Agility. To maintain Superior competitive advantage, management in Mobile Communications firms at Jordan must handle each dimension of Business Intelligence Capabilities. The theoretical and practical implications of this work are discussed.
