Abstract:

This paper highlighted the reviewing technique of literature applied in measuring the awareness of electronic records keeping.  As to measure, there are several technique can be applied. These include conducting a scoping, meta-analysis or content analysis review. However, this study has applied the content analysis. By using content analysis technique, the measurement of electronic records keeping awareness shows this study required a proper model for collecting a valid finding. This is where the proper analysis on the established models is conducted for the purpose of identifying the proper measurement model.  In fact, this is also facilitates the formulation of conceptual model which directly includes the established element in measuring the awareness of electronic records keeping. As a result the Knowledge, Awareness, and Attitude (KAP) model is selected.  By selecting this model, the entire elements of KAP’s model will be used as guidelines for collecting the findings for this study.  Finally, this is believes that the measurement of electronic records awareness at private organization can be conducted adequately.
